Wool – nature’s all-season hero
Why we love wool
Wool stretches and recovers its shape without sagging or wrinkling, offering lasting comfort and durability.
Wool is difficult
to ignite and
won’t melt or
stick to other
fibres when it
does burn.
The fatty acids in
wool neutralise
body odours and
can absorb up
to 35% of their
own weight in
moisture.
Wool’s natural
properties inhibit
the growth of
bacteria and
microorganisms
that can cause
allergies and
irritations.
Wool effectively
wicks moisture
away from the
body, helping
to regulate
temperature.
Wool manages
perspiration –
you’re warm and
dry in cool, damp
weather and cool
in warmth
year-round.
Wool allows for
airflow, making
it an excellent
insulator in shoes
in winter and a
cooler option in
summer.
The natural
protective outer
layer of wool
helps prevent
stains from being
absorbed.
Wool generates
minimal static,
reducing
dust and lint
attraction while
ensuring a
comfortable
wear.
Wool products
are known for
their exceptional
durability and
long-lasting
quality.
What is superwash wool?
Superwash wool
typically has a greater sheen compared to untreated wool.
It is less elastic than untreated wool and may stretch more after washing and wearing.
Superwash wool is often softer and less scratchy than untreated wool.
Superwool can be safely washed in washing machines on a wool or gentle cycle.
While convenient, it may not feel as warm as untreated wool.
